In-Home & Showroom Sales Consultant
Full-time · Hourly plus commission · In customers' homes across the GTA and at our Etobicoke showroom
Kingsway is a family flooring and window-covering showroom on The East Mall, open since 1997. We are looking for a salesperson who has already sold carpet, flooring or window coverings to help customers choose their flooring and window coverings. Much of the job happens in customers' own homes: you bring the samples to them, so they can see colours in their own light and next to their own furniture, and you measure while you are there. The rest of the time you are in the showroom.
What you'll do
- Visit customers' homes across the GTA with samples, and help them choose there
- Measure rooms and windows during the visit
- Help customers choose carpet, hardwood, vinyl, blinds, shades and shutters in the showroom
- Prepare written quotes and follow up
- Look after each job from first visit to finished installation
What you'll need
- Direct experience selling carpet, flooring, window coverings, or more than one of these
- A good working knowledge of the products, and a willingness to keep learning new lines
- A valid driver's licence and your own car, since you will be driving to customers' homes regularly
- A friendly, patient manner. Many of our customers have been with us for years
