Privacy

When you send an enquiry, we receive your name, your email address, your phone number if you give one, what you are interested in, your area, your message, and which page of the site you sent it from.

When you download a guide, we receive your name and email address.

When you browse the site, we count visits using Cloudflare Web Analytics: which pages are viewed, which website sent you here, and whether you are on a phone or a computer. It does not use cookies, does not store your IP address, and cannot tell us who you are. We use it only to see which pages are useful.

That is all. We do not use advertising or tracking cookies, and we do not follow you around the internet.

To answer your question, book a measure, and prepare your quote. If you become a customer, we may also use it to follow up on your order or installation.

We do not sell or rent your information, and we do not send you marketing emails. If we ever start a newsletter, we will only send it to people who have said yes to it, and every email will have a way to unsubscribe.

Only the companies that run this website for us, and only so the site can work: Google Firebase hosts the site, Supabase stores enquiries in a secure database, Brevo delivers the email that tells our showroom a new enquiry has arrived, and Cloudflare counts visits as described above. They are not allowed to use your information for their own purposes. Some of these services may store information outside Canada, including in the United States.

We would also share information if the law required us to.

Some pages show a Google map of the showroom or a YouTube video. These are provided by Google, and Google may set its own cookies when you use them. Videos are shown in YouTube's privacy-enhanced mode. Google's own privacy policy covers what it collects.

We keep website enquiries for three years, so we can look back at a past quote or job if you come back to us. After that they are deleted. You can ask us to delete yours sooner at any time.

Our gallery shows rooms we have finished. We never show addresses. If you recognise your home and would rather it was not on our site, tell us and we will take the photo down.

You can ask us what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. The owner of Kingsway is responsible for how we handle personal information. Email kingswaycarpets@rogers.com or call (416) 253-0880 and we will deal with it.

If what we collect or how we use it changes, we will update this page and the date at the top.
