Solid or engineered, oak or maple — the right hardwood depends less on the wood than on the room. A Toronto basement and a July humidity swing will move a solid plank and leave an engineered one flat, while a solid floor can be sanded back and refinished more than once. We carry both and will steer you by where the floor is going, not by what has the biggest margin. Measured free and installed by our own fitters.
