A striped wool stair runner with pie steps in Etobicoke
Pie steps with a striped carpet are usually hard to do, but with the right team of installers, anything is possible. This one looks fabulous.
Why this one is tricky
Pie steps are the wedge-shaped steps where a staircase turns a corner, and every one is a slightly different size. We make a paper template of each before anything is cut.
With a plaid-like stripe, the lines also have to stay straight and meet up from one step to the next. That takes patience and an installer who has done it before, and here it shows: the pattern runs cleanly all the way up.

Whitaker is a refined velvet-loom wool carpet where high-end style and durability live together. Plaid-like lines and geometric edges are softened by a variegated colour, which gives it a modern look with a touch of nostalgia. This job is in the colour Garner.
